Abstract: This is a case study of a patient diagnosed with Juvenile Polycystic Astrocytoma (JPA) with unilateral site of tumor hearing loss. This is a clinical review of a pediatric patient audiologic presentation through the course of her medical treatment and post treatment with Carboplatin and Debrafenib.
Summary: This patient started medical treatment for her inoperable Juvenile Polycystic Astrocytoma (JPA) at 20 months of age with associated site of tumor hearing loss. Her hearing was monitored closely from baseline, throughout treatment continuing post treatment. Her hearing was monitored due to Carboplatin treatment.
