Abstract: One year after OTC hearing aids became available in retail settings, interested pharmacists have adopted various models of sales and support. This session will describe how OTC hearing aids fit within the standard Pharmacists’ patient care process. Presenters will report on data from a 2023 national survey of pharmacists’ awareness, interest, and readiness for OTC hearing aids. Additionally, results from a study of currently implemented models in pharmacy practice will be reported.
