As new research and tools for pediatric hearing devices are made available, audiologists must learn and implement new information to best support their patients’ success. This session will provide an overview of recently released tools and guidelines to support pediatric audiologists in seeing device patients. Case presentations will be used to allow attendees to discuss the application of these tools and take them to daily practice.

Apply use of RMSe values to increase the accuracy of pediatric hearing aid fittings
Use the LMH-10 Sound Test as a quick verification measure of pediatric hearing device fittings
Understand the concept of the Rainbow Audiogram as a method of information sharing with related service providers to ensure auditory access for children with hearing aids and cochlear implants
