Dr. Amy Myers is currently an AP-Associate Professor in Audiology at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She graduated from A.T. Still University with a clinical doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) in 2010. She specializes in diagnostic audiology, auditory processing disorder, hearing aids, aural rehabilitation, auditory training, and middle ear and cochlear implants. She was involved with the FDA clinical trial for a totally implantable hearing device (Envoy Esteem) which was approved in 2010. Dr. Myers currently participates in an ongoing research study for adults using cochlear implants who participate in group aural rehabilition and is called Cochlear Implant Connections for Late Deafened Adults with Cochlear Implants.
