Dr. Maryrose McInerney is a full-time faculty member of the audiology program at Montclair State University (MSU), focusing on pediatrics, amplification, and counseling for people with hearing loss and their families. Dr McInerney is currently the Director of the Audiology Doctoral Program at MSU. She has practiced audiology in New Jersey for more than 40 years. Dr. McInerney directed the audiology department at Hackensack University Medical Center for 26 years. Appointed by the governor to the NJ Hearing Evaluation Council in 2014, she currently serves as its chairperson. Dr. McIneney was elected in 2022 to the National Academy of Practices- Audiology, a nationally recognized interprofessional group of healthcare practitioners and scholars. Dr McInerney's current research focuses on outcomes of intervention for EHDI Programs, adherence to, and predictors of follow-up.
