Dr. Zwolan is Professor Emerita in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Michigan Medicine where she served as Director of the Cochlear Implant Program from 1990-2021. She previously served as Director for the Institute for Cochlear Implant Training (ICIT) Advanced Audiology Course and is a co-founder and past member of the Board of Directors of the American Cochlear Implant (ACI) Alliance. She joined Cochlear Americas as Director of Audiology Access and Standard of Care in November, 2022, where she is leading efforts to overcome barriers to treatment and establish cochlear implants as a standard of care for patients who may benefit from treatment.
