Rachel Robinson is a 4th year Audiology student from Louisiana Tech University. She is originally from DeRidder, Louisiana. Her interest in Audiology began during her undergraduate studies at Louisiana Tech while she was pursuing her degree in Pre-Professional Speech Language Pathology. She fell in love with the field as soon as she had her first class.
Rachel worked as a student researcher for Gallaudet University for their summer Research Experience Undergraduates (REU) in 2019. Her research at the time focused on user experiences for Hearing Assistive Technology (HATs). Her time at Gallaudet gave her a deeper appreciation for audiology.
Rachel is currently completing her 4th year externship at CarolinaEast Ear, Nose, and Throat in New Bern, North Carolina. Outside of work, she loves to read, listen to podcasts, and spend time with her loved ones.
