Dr. Jack Shohet received his bachelor’s and medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his internship and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he subsequently completed a fellowship in otology/neurotology at the Ear Foundation in Nashville.
Board certified in both otolaryngology and neurotology, Dr. Shohet has contributed to the implementation and development of implantable middle ear hearing devices and continues to offer new treatments for hearing disorders and related problems. He is in private practice with offices in Orange County, CA where he specializes in disorders of the ear.
In addition to his private practice, Dr. Shohet is engaged in medical research and is a Clinical Professor (Volunteer) at the University of California, Irvine, where he previously served as Chief of the Division of Neurotology and Residency Program Director.
