Mathieu Hotton is an audiologist and assistant professor at Laval University (Quebec City, Canada). He holds a master's degree in audiology (2001), and a Ph.D. in experimental medicine (2017). He pursued a postdoctoral fellowship with Jean-Pierre Gagné (2018-2019). Pr. Hotton is a clinical researcher interested in new hearing technologies and interventions for people with hearing loss. Pr. Hotton presently works on topics such as: the hearing aid (HA) fitting process, the use and satisfaction with HAs, the recycling of HAs, the audiological needs assessment, and the accessibility of hearing services for seniors with hearing loss.
