Shannon Van Hyfte, AuD, CCC-A, is a clinical associate professor at Purdue University's Speech, Language, and Hearing Science department. Dr. Van Hyfte’s primary responsibilities include her role as clinic director and in clinical education of first through third year AuD students in pediatric through adult diagnostic evaluations as well as providing habilitation/rehabilitation services. In addition, she is course instructor of the Adult Aural Rehabilitation class and arranges externship placements for third year AuD students. In the last two years, Dr. Van Hyfte has initiated the development of a clinical cochlear implant clinic in the Audiology clinic.
