Driven by his passion for music, Miguel studied acoustic engineering in Spain (1995—1999). After experiencing the constant deafening sounds of rock concerts, Miguel became interested in the prevention of hearing loss. Hence, he moved to Aalborg University (Denmark) to continue his education as M. Sc. Electronic Engineer with focus on the use of engineering methods for audiological purposes. In 2010, Miguel completed his Ph.D. in the topic of otoacoustic emissions and their use for early detection of hearing loss.
Miguel joined GN Hearing in 2010 as International Audiologist and Product Trainer, providing audiological and technical support in more than 80 countries. Currently, he works as Senior Product Marketing Manager where he is responsible for the positioning and messaging of new products, aiming to take product features and translate them into tangible benefits that meet customer’s needs.
