Assistant Professor
East Tennessee State University
I earned a Ph.D. in audiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018, focusing on identifying electrophysiological markers of age-related hearing loss and the neural correlates of age-related declines in the ability to understand speech in noisy environments in older adults. I completed an Au.D. degree in 2022 from the same institution. My expertise lies in electrophysiological assessments for age-related hearing loss. My long-term research goal is to create objective testing tools for age-related auditory dysfunction and to improve the methodology for outcome measures of auditory rehabilitation in older adults. Driven by a passion for bridging research and practice, I am committed to advancing evidence for the implementation of evidence-based practice in age-related auditory dysfunction and am dedicated to educating future audiologists through hands-on training and mentorship at East Tennessee State University.
