Xing Wei is a second-year international student in the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of Iowa. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Iowa. Xing is currently working at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a student research assistant in Cochlear Implant Center, and hospital interpreter (Mandarin). Xing is part of the Aural Rehabilitation rotation within the University of Iowa Wendell Johnson Speech and Hearing Clinic. Xing’s research and clinical interests include electrophysiology, cochlear implants, tinnitus/hyperacusis, and vestibular disorders. She would love to work as a Medical audiologist upon completion of her AuD program.
