Carol Cokely, PhD, is clinical professor in the Department of Speech, Language, Hearing at the University of Texas at Dallas. Since 2020, she serves as AuD Program Head and was the Director of Clinical Education for many years prior. She teaches courses in adult rehabilitation, mentoring and counseling, and research. Dr. Cokely has a long-term commitment to the andragogy of clinical and classroom education, AuD program assessment, and to the strength of the profession. She is vice-chair of the board of directors of the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE), past member of the boards of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (ARA) and has served on numerous committees within AAA and the Council of Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD).
