Kayla Chase is a second year audiology student at Idaho State University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southern Illinois University. Her current interests are researching how electrophysiological tests can aid in the evaluation and diagnosis of central auditory processing disorder (CAPD). She hopes this will help provide information regarding the effectiveness of electrophysiology as part of a larger test battery for clinicians evaluating CAPD.
Upon graduation, she plans to increase services for those experiencing auditory processing deficits in her community in Oregon.
