Dr. Denise Pouncey is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolagyngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Pouncey obtained her master's degree in audiology from the University of Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), and her Au.D. from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL). She has extensive expertise in balance disorders and has been an integral part of the UMMC Dizziness and Balance Clinic for over 15 years. Her interests include the assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders. Dr. Pouncey maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). Prior to her current position, she worked in private practice ENT clinics in Alabama and Mississippi.
