M. Shannon Hamill, Au.D, CCC-A is an audiologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and Audiology Site Manager at the hospital's outpatient sattelite location in Lexington, Massachusetts. Dr. Hamill's areas of specialty include pedicatric diagnostic evaluation, auditory processing disorders, hearing aid fitting and Bone Anchored Hearing Systems (BAHS). She is a member of the department’s (Central) Auditory Processing team. Dr. Hamill presented poster titled '(Central) Auditory Processing Disorder in Chilldren with Chronic Lyme Disease: A Case Study' at the Academy's 2012 Global Perspecitves on CAPD conference and is authored on a poster titled 'Predictive Factors Influencing Improvements in Auditory Processing Test Results Over Time' presented at the Academy's 2023 conference. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Central Michigan University in 1987 and 1988 and her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University and the Arizona School of Health Science in 2010.
