Daniel J. Romero, AuD, PhD is an Assistant Professor and licensed audiologist for the Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His primary research interests focus on understanding peripheral and central vestibular physiology across the lifespan as well as the impacts of dizziness and imbalance in clinical populations. Dr. Romero serves as on the Board of Directors for the American Balance Society and serves as the 2025 AAA Programs Chair for the American Academy of Audiology. He also co-hosts a vestibular-focused podcast called A Dose of Dizzy.
