Bailey Harmon is a fourth-year AuD student at the University of Colorado Boulder. She received her bachelor of science degree in speech, hearing, and language sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Bailey is currently completing her externship at Rocky Mountain Ear Center and Cochlear Americas based out of the Denver Metro Area. Her professional interests include speech and music perception in cochlear implant patients and frequency allocation table changes for those with single-sided deafness.
Bailey is currently the Public Outreach Chair for the National Student Academy of Audiology. In her undergraduate career, Bailey volunteered training mobility service dogs for the non-profit organization Illinois Service Dogs, which sparked her passion for philanthropy and advocacy. Bailey hopes to use her passion for advocacy to assist the profession of audiology, current audiology students and fellow professionals.
